Trip overview
The Torres del Paine Classic Tour is a five-day, hotel-based trip from Puerto Natales: three guided day excursions into Torres del Paine National Park, Chilean Patagonia, and a hotel bed every night.
One day by vehicle through the classic viewpoints, Laguna Amarga, Lake Nordenskjöld and Lake Pehoé, with the Milodón Cave on the way back; one day on Grey Lake by boat, among the icebergs; and one long hike to Base Torres.
You sleep four nights in Puerto Natales with breakfast, and a hotel inside the park can be quoted on request. Transfers, the park entrance, the boat and the meals on the excursions are arranged, with a certified bilingual local guide every day: the park without a tent or a heavy pack.

How do I get from Punta Arenas airport to Puerto Natales?
By bus, in about two and a half hours. Several companies run the route through the day, and the timetable changes with the season, so we check the current departures against your flight before you book, in both directions. Bus tickets are not included in the program. If the flights are still open, getting to Patagonia runs through the options from Santiago south.
How is this different from the W Trek?
This is a hotel-based tour: you sleep in Puerto Natales every night and go into the park for the day, three times. The W Trek sleeps inside the park and walks from camp to camp for five days. The Classic Tour reaches Laguna Amarga, the Pehoé viewpoints, Grey Lake by boat and Base Torres on foot, and it is the only program that visits the Milodón Cave.
Can I skip the Base Torres hike?
Yes. If you prefer a lighter day, we replace the hike with a scenic excursion inside the park, with short walks. Tell us when you send your dates. There is also a trip built around not walking far: Patagonia without hiking.
Is the Grey Lake boat guaranteed?
No boat is. The Grey III sails according to the lake conditions and the schedule of the operator; if it cannot sail on your day, we coordinate the best alternative available.
