Welcome to Patagonia. Upon arrival, we will meet you at the airport or bus terminal and transfer you to your hotel in Puerto Natales. Later, you will receive a pre-trek briefing with your guide, including route details, gear checks, logistics, and final recommendations before entering Torres del Paine.

Begin the day with an early transfer to Torres del Paine National Park. Once at the Welcome Center, complete your registration and start the hike toward Base Torres through the Ascencio Valley, passing forest, mountain terrain, and the final boulder field before reaching the iconic Towers viewpoint. After your box lunch, return along the same trail to Central Camping.
Hiking Time: 7–8 hours • Distance: 20 km / 12.4 miles • Elevation Gain: ~700 m / 2,300 ft

After breakfast, follow the trail east along Lake Nordenskjöld, with views of Mount Almirante Nieto, hanging glaciers, open valleys, and turquoise lake waters. Continue across streams and rolling terrain toward your overnight sector at Francés or Cuernos, depending on availability.
Hiking Time: 5–6 hours • Distance: 15 km / 9.3 miles • Elevation Gain: ~400 m / 1,312 ft

Start early for one of the most scenic sections of the W Trek. From Francés or Cuernos, hike toward Italiano and continue into the French Valley, where the trail climbs through rocky terrain and forest toward the French Plateau viewpoint. From there, enjoy views of Los Cuernos, turquoise glacial lagoons, and hanging glaciers on the eastern face of Paine Grande before descending back to the main trail and continuing to Paine Grande.
Hiking Time: 7–8 hours • Distance: 14 km / 8.7 miles • Elevation Gain: ~400 m / 1,310 ft

Hike from Paine Grande toward Grey Sector, passing Laguna Los Patos and several open viewpoints toward Grey Lake, floating icebergs, and the surrounding mountains. The trail continues through forested sections before reaching Grey Refuge. In the afternoon, you can take a short walk to the Grey Glacier viewpoint.

Finish the W Trek with one of its most memorable glacier landscapes. Board the Grey Glacier navigation and travel across Grey Lake, with views of icebergs, surrounding peaks, and the glacier’s blue ice walls and continue by overland transfer back to Puerto Natales after completing the W Trek.

Cross from Chile into Argentine Patagonia and travel toward El Chaltén, known as Argentina’s trekking capital. This is a full travel day through open Patagonian landscapes, with views that gradually shift toward the Fitz Roy range as you approach town.

Explore one of El Chaltén’s classic hiking routes toward the Cerro Torre area. The trail moves through forest, valleys, and open viewpoints before reaching Laguna Torre, where glacier, mountain, and lake landscapes come together.

Take on one of Patagonia’s most iconic day hikes: the route toward Fitz Roy and Laguna de los Tres. The trail offers forest, river, glacier, and mountain views, with the final climb leading to one of the most famous viewpoints in Argentine Patagonia. This is a long and demanding hiking day, but also one of the strongest scenic moments of the journey.

Travel from El Chaltén to El Calafate, the gateway to Perito Moreno Glacier. After arrival, continue toward Los Glaciares National Park to visit one of Patagonia’s most impressive and accessible glacier landscapes. Walk the viewing platforms, take in the scale of the glacier, and enjoy time observing the ice walls from different angles before returning to El Calafate.

Fly from El Calafate to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. After arrival, transfer to your hotel and settle into the Tierra del Fuego stage of the journey. This day is kept lighter after several active trekking and travel days.

Hike to Laguna Esmeralda, one of the most beautiful day hikes near Ushuaia. The trail crosses Fuegian forest, peat bog areas, and mountain landscapes before reaching the emerald colored lagoon. The terrain can be muddy, so good hiking shoes are important.

Distance: 9.6 km / 6 miles approx.

Fly from El Calafate to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. After arrival, transfer to your hotel and settle into the Tierra del Fuego stage of the journey. This day is kept lighter after several active trekking and travel days.
