What to Expect Each Day

W Trek Highlights • Oct–Apr • Difficulty: Medium/High

Welcome to Patagonia! We pick you up at the airport or bus station and transfer you to your hotel. Later, meet your dedicated local guide for a one-on-one briefing: route overview, weather check, gear tips, and final questions.

Meals: Not included

The hike begins in the Ascencio Valley, through native forests and a final boulder field to the legendary Base Torres viewpoint. This is the moment everyone dreams of: the three granite towers and the turquoise lagoon at your feet, a view worth every step.

After photos and lunch, descend the same trail and return to your in-park base to rest and refuel.

Hiking Time: 7–8 hours • Distance: 20 km / 12.4 miles • Elevation Gain: ~700 m / 2,300 ft
Meals: Breakfast, Box lunch & dinner

Cross Lake Pehoé by catamaran to Paine Grande. Hike along Lake Skottsberg to Italiano Camp and ascend to the Mirador Francés, with dramatic views of hanging glaciers and the Paine Massif.

Return to Paine Grande along the same trail and sail back to Pudeto. Transfer to your in-park base for the night.

Hiking Time: 6–7 hours • Distance: 17 km / 10.6 miles • Elevation Gain: ~600 m / 1,970 ft
Meals: Breakfast, box lunch & dinner

Return to Paine Grande and follow the trail toward the Grey Glacier viewpoint. Walk through lenga forest and ridge sections with wide panoramas over Grey Lake and the Southern Patagonian Icefield.

Lunch at the viewpoint, then hike back the same way. Catamaran to Pudeto and transfer to Puerto Natales or your scheduled overnight.

Hiking Time: 7–8 hours • Distance: ~21 km / 13.0 miles • Elevation Gain: ~400 m / 1,310 ft
Meals: Breakfast & box lunch
