Itinerary

Welcome to Patagonia! When you arrive at your accommodation, we’ll provide a detailed overview of the itinerary for the following day. Take some time to relax or explore the area at your leisure.

We'll start early in the morning from your accommodation in Puerto Natales and head north to the Province of Última Esperanza. We will traverse Torres del Paine National Park from north to south, stopping at beautiful viewpoints such as Lago Sarmiento, Laguna Amarga, Lago Nordenskjöld, Lago Pehoé, and the beach at Lago Grey, famous for its floating icebergs, where we'll take a short hike. Throughout the journey, you'll spot the unique Patagonian flora and fauna against the backdrop of the famous Paine Mountain Range. Leaving the park, we’ll visit another important protected area, the Natural Monument of Milodon Cave, where you'll learn about the iconic Milodon animal discovered here. Finally, we return to Puerto Natales.

The hike starts from the Welcome Center, ascending along a trail that passes through forests and rivers in Ascencio Valley. The last stretch features an impressive glacial moraine, ultimately leading you to the renowned Base Torres viewpoint. Here, you’ll enjoy one of the best views of the three granite giants alongside the Torres lake and glacier. This must-see spot is perfect for nature lovers. This medium to high-difficulty hike takes a full day, with a total hiking time of 8 to 9 hours, including short breaks. Water refills are available along the way. The return is via the same trail, finishing in Puerto Natales.

On this day, we will pick up our passengers from their accommodation in Puerto Natales and take a 2-hour drive to Grey Lake in Torres del Paine National Park. Upon arrival, we will check in at least 1 hour before departure. We’ll head to Grey Beach for a 30 to 45-minute walk to the boarding area. The navigation to Grey Glacier lasts approximately 3 hours. The highlight of this tour is the chance to get close to the stunning Grey Glacier, floating icebergs, and the vibrant blue tones of the glacier, which is part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Be sure to dress warmly and bring your camera to capture the breathtaking scenery. If you have any specific questions or need more information about Grey Glacier Navigation, feel free to ask!

Depending on your departure time, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport or bus station on time for your next journey. For now, we say goodbye and hope to see you again in the future.
