It begins before sunrise, crossing the border into Argentina, and it ends with memories you’ll keep forever. Our Perito Moreno Glacier Tour is more than a full-day excursion — it’s a front-row seat to one of nature’s most powerful spectacles.
The road itself is part of the experience. As you ride across the open landscapes of Patagonia, the silence, the wind, and the vast skies slowly prepare you for what’s ahead. When you finally arrive, the glacier appears suddenly — towering, brilliant, alive.
There’s something hypnotic about watching ice that moves. You’ll hear it groan, crack, and collapse — as if the earth were speaking. The sheer size and presence of Perito Moreno is humbling. And yet, despite its immensity, you can see it safely and comfortably from a network of walkways that bring you closer without taking anything away from its raw beauty.
The Perito Moreno Glacier Tour also offers the option of a 45-minute boat ride that floats just past the glacier’s face. Cameras click, voices hush, and the blue ice reflects a light unlike anything you’ve seen.
This isn’t a hike or an adrenaline-filled trek. It’s for travelers who want to see something unforgettable and feel part of something immense. Whether you’re a photographer, a quiet observer, or someone simply chasing wonder — this tour is for you.
You leave in the dark, and return with stories of ice, light, and awe. That’s the kind of day you don’t forget. It’s one of the most memorable day trips you can do from Puerto Natales — an essential Patagonian experience.
Don’t miss the chance to join our Perito Moreno Glacier Tour — it’s a journey that will stay with you forever.

This tour starts early in the morning as we head to Cerro Castillo, where we'll cross the border into Calafate. Along the way, we’ll travel through the beautiful Argentine Patagonia steppe, with a short stop at a gas station in Esperanza to rest and use the restroom. We will continue for another 2 hours, where you might spot guanacos and rheas, typical wildlife of the area. Upon arrival in El Calafate, you’ll meet your local guide for a one-hour drive to Perito Moreno Glacier. This glacier is renowned for its beauty and the spectacular ice calving that occurs frequently, so you may witness this incredible natural phenomenon. The walkways and viewpoints in the national park allow you to get close to Perito Moreno safely. There’s also an option to take a 45-minute boat ride along the glacier’s front, which is not included in the tour price and can be arranged with your local guide in Calafate.
