Itinerary: What to Expect Each Day?

Welcome to Patagonia! When you arrive at your accommodation, we’ll provide a detailed overview of the itinerary for the following day. Take some time to relax or explore the area at your leisure.

The hike to Cerro Benitez offers a unique experience that combines Patagonia's natural beauty with the history of its indigenous peoples. Starting at Estancia Rupestre Patagonia, you'll ascend the eastern side of the hill to reach an elevation of 240 meters above sea level, passing through forests of lenga and ñirre trees. After about an hour, you'll arrive at the viewpoint of Laguna Sofía, perfect for spotting condors and eagles. The hike continues along the slopes toward caves featuring ancient rock paintings that reveal the culture of the early inhabitants. The route concludes back at the starting point.

The hike starts from the Welcome Center, ascending along a trail that passes through forests and rivers in Ascencio Valley. The last stretch features an impressive glacial moraine, ultimately leading you to the renowned Base Torres viewpoint. Here, you’ll enjoy one of the best views of the three granite giants alongside the Torres lake and glacier. This must-see spot is perfect for nature lovers. This medium to high-difficulty hike takes a full day, with a total hiking time of 8 to 9 hours, including short breaks. Water refills are available along the way. The return is via the same trail, finishing in Puerto Natales.

This excursion offers a genuine connection to nature. Starting at one of the main entrances with views of Lake Sarmiento, the trail leads to ancient rock paintings. The majestic Paine Mountain Range and the iconic Cuernos dominate the landscape. Along the way, you'll discover a shelter with rock paintings over 6,000 years old, remnants of the Aonikenk people. Local wildlife, including condors, guanacos, and pumas, may be spotted. The hike descends toward the Paine River and concludes in Cañadón Macho, a vast valley, before returning to Puerto Natales.

Depending on your departure time, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport or bus station on time for your next journey. For now, we say goodbye and hope to see you again in the future.
