Torres del Paine winter activities

open the door to a unique season of snow-covered landscapes, peaceful trails, and surreal beauty in the heart of Patagonia.

A Frozen Paradise in Southern Patagonia

Winter in Torres del Paine runs from June to August. During these months, snow covers the park’s trails, forests, and mountains. This transforms the landscape into a surreal white wonderland.
Temperatures can drop to -13°C (9°F), so it’s important to dress warmly. Days are shorter, with beautiful sunrises around 9 AM and sunsets by 5 PM.

The best way to arrive is by flying into Punta Arenas. From there, take a ground transfer to Puerto Natales, the closest town to the park. We highly recommend hiring professional drivers. Also, having travel insurance is a smart idea for winter travel.
