Itinerary

Welcome to Patagonia! Our driver will pick you up at the airport or bus station upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel. At the hotel, we will explain the itinerary for the following day in detail. Take some time to rest or explore the area.Meals not included.

Hiking time: 4 to 5 hours. Distance: 14 km (8 miles). Elevation Gain: 300 m.Our adventure kicks off early with a two-hour drive to Torres del Paine National Park. The journey crosses the wide Patagonian steppe until you reach Laguna Amarga, the main entrance to the park, where you will register with CONAF (park rangers). Here, you will change transportation to "Transporte Las Torres," which will take you to the Welcome Center, where you will check in for the Cerro Paine Reservation. Then, the hike to Serón Camp begins.Although it is one of the easier hikes on the circuit, the trail to Serón offers amazing landscapes of the wild side of Torres del Paine National Park. You will walk along a vibrant green carpet of trees, descending a pleasant hillside into an endless meadow on the Patagonian plain. Continuing along the relatively flat trail to Serón Camp, you’ll appreciate the crystal-clear streams. After setting up camp, you'll have time to enjoy the vastness of the landscape before dinner, served in the cozy dining area of Serón.Breakfast/ Box Lunch / Dinner included.

Hiking time: 6 to 7 hours. Distance: 18 km (11 miles). Elevation Gain: 250 m. Today, a long hike begins through rolling hills and humid meadows within the park. Snow-capped mountains, pastel blue lakes, and vast stretches of grassland serve as a backdrop as you explore the northern side of the park, offering stunning views of the Dickson Glacier, Cerro Cubo, and other rugged peaks marking the border between Chile and Argentina. Once you reach the Dickson area, you will check in, and during the afternoon, you can take a hike along the rocky shores of Lake Dickson before dinner at the lodge. Breakfast / Box Lunch / Dinner included.

Hiking time: 4 hours. Distance: 12 km (7 miles). Elevation Gain: 400 m. Today, you’ll trek through the most remote area of the park, amidst lush green vegetation. You’ll feel the wind rustling through the bushes and hear the pleasant calls of Magellanic woodpeckers. As you skirt the Los Perros River, you will ascend a steep moraine, breathless at the sight of another picturesque mountain backdrop: the magnificent Los Perros Glacier and its blue-green lagoon. You will continue along a rocky path until you reach Los Perros Camp, where you will spend the night. It is recommended to rest, as the next day will be long. Breakfast / Box Lunch / Dinner included.

Hiking time: 8 hours. Distance: 17.3 km (10.7 miles). Elevation Gain: 400 m. Catch your breath and prepare for the most challenging day of the Paine circuit, but also one of the most rewarding. After an early breakfast in the common area and picking up your box lunch, you will navigate through twisted roots and large puddles of mud beneath the green canopy of trees. Upon leaving the forest, you will ascend weathered, loose rocks (sometimes covered in snow) to reach the highest point of the circuit, the famous John Garner Pass (1,200 m / 3,937 ft). Surrounded by fierce Patagonian winds, you’ll be awed by the Southern Ice Fields and their brilliant white expanse. The descent is alongside a massive ice wall, continuing down the trail until reaching El Paso Camp, where there is a ranger station. After that, you’ll cross thrilling suspension bridges before arriving at Grey Lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest. Breakfast, box lunch, and dinner included.

Hiking time: 4 hours. Distance: 11 km (6 miles). Elevation Gain: 100 m. Enjoy breakfast at Grey Lodge before continuing to marvel at the spectacular landscapes of the Southern Ice Fields and the icebergs of Lake Grey (don't forget to grab your box lunch!). An ascending hike through a mountainous forest will lead you to the windy lookout of Grey Glacier. From there, you will continue your hike to Laguna Los Patos, where you will start descending through a narrow and windy valley directly to Paine Grande Lodge. Breakfast / Box Lunch / Dinner included. Optional activities: Ice trekking on Grey Glacier ($320 per person) or Grey kayaking ($239 per person).

Hiking time: 8 to 9 hours. Distance: 19 km (12 miles). Elevation Gain: 690 m. Today's hike will be a round trip, starting and finishing at Paine Grande Lodge, so we recommend starting early! After breakfast at the lodge, grab your box lunch and prepare for this last adventure before returning to Puerto Natales. Travel to the heart of the park, skirting the blue waters of Lake Skottsberg. After approximately 2.5 hours of hiking, you will reach the Italian Camp (park rangers), where you will begin your trek toward the French Valley. Ascend through large boulders and follow the trail through the forest until you reach the French Plateau (French Lookout). Here, you will be rewarded with stunning views of Los Cuernos, turquoise glacial lagoons, and remarkable hanging glaciers descending the eastern face of Paine Grande Mountain (3,050 m / 10,007 ft). If you're lucky, you may hear the thunderous roar of the glacier and the falling water, and perhaps witness an avalanche. Enjoy your box lunch and a well-deserved rest. Descend by the same trail back to Italian Camp and then to Paine Grande Lodge. Upon arrival, take the catamaran back to Pudeto, where you will board the bus returning to Puerto Natales. Breakfast / Box Lunch included.

Depending on your flight schedule, we will pick you up at your hotel for your transfer to the airport or bus terminal. No meals included.
