DoPatagonia — Terms & Conditions
Booking activities
To book one of our tours, you must read the detailed specifications of each service available on our website. Reservations for our tours can be made through our email at info@dopatagonia.com or via WhatsApp at +56 934346575. All reservations are subject to confirmation once payment is made online. The corresponding confirmation will be sent within 48 hours for services of one-day duration and within 7 days for services longer than one day, depending on availability, the minimum number of passengers required, and expected weather conditions, among other factors that may affect the reservation management. For reservations made less than 48 hours in advance, confirmation will be sent by the day prior to the requested date. If we cannot confirm a service for the requested date and/or time, we will offer alternative dates and/or times that are available, or a full refund if the passenger does not wish to choose the proposed alternatives.
Passports and visas (Chile)
Chile is very welcoming to tourists, and most nationalities can enter for up to 90 days at no cost, granted a tourist visa upon arrival. Citizens of Mexico and Australia must pay reciprocity fees of USD 23 and USD 117, respectively, upon entry. Citizens of China must apply for a tourist visa at no cost unless they hold a valid visa for Canada or the United States with a validity of six months. If you have any questions about whether you need a visa, please contact the Chilean embassy in your country or ask us, and we will do our best to assist you. Please note that you must have a blank page in your passport. Any costs associated with passports and/or visas when entering any country related to a DoPatagonia trip will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
Travel insurance
We highly recommend obtaining adequate travel insurance for your vacation. Travel insurance covers costs related to cancellation fees, unexpected trip reductions, medical expenses, and repatriation, including air ambulance services, personal accidents, and loss or damage to your personal belongings.
Care of belongings
Passengers are solely responsible for the care of their belongings and personal items during the service. It is advised not to carry large sums of cash or valuable items. DoPatagonia will not be responsible under any circumstances for the loss of personal belongings, whether purchased during the trip or not.

We will do our best to assist with rescheduling requests, subject to availability and applicable change fees. However, DoPatagonia cannot guarantee refunds or rebookings outside of our standard policies in these cases.
For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip interruptions and cancellations due to force majeure.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and changes made by the passenger
All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by the user who made the reservation, exclusively by sending an email to info@dopatagonia.com. The possibility of cancellation without cost will always be subject to the service's cancellation policy, while the possibility of rescheduling will always be subject to the service's rescheduling policy and availability on the requested new date. All reservations made with less notice than the period specified in the service's cancellation policy have no possibility of cancellation without charge or rescheduling.
According to Article 3 bis (b) of Law 19.496 on Consumer Rights Protection, sales made through the website are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
Entry to parks and natural reserves
Prices for park entries not included in the service price are determined by the parks themselves and are subject to change without notice.
It is the passenger's responsibility to be aware of and strictly adhere to the rules of each park. The passenger will bear all responsibilities and costs associated with expulsion or fines for non-compliance with any regulations.
Border crossings
For services that involve crossing borders, it is the passenger's responsibility to have the required travel documents according to their country of origin (travel document, immigration card, tourist visa, reciprocity fee, invitation letter, and/or criminal background certificate, as applicable). Passengers must be fit to cross the border (without any restrictions or other conditions preventing entry) and, if traveling with a minor, must have all necessary documents and notarized permissions. If a passenger is unable to cross the border due to failure to meet any of the aforementioned requirements, there will be no possibility for refunds or rescheduling, and the passenger will be responsible for their transfer from the border crossing to the starting point of the service.
